They all potentially have much to offer the aspiring entrepreneur who wants to learn or adopt some of their useful characteristics, skills or beliefs. But there is also another source of mentors that can be just as useful and even more readily available should you want to create specific areas of change in your personal identity and overall capabilities and these come in the shape of fictional characters.
You make think that the likes of James Bond or Obi Wan Kenobi dont have much to offer when it comes to driving you forward in achieving your personal and business goals but, used by the astute and successful Coaches when working with clients, these characters can provide useful resources to help create powerful character, behavioural and skills related changes, in some cases almost instantly, within their clients.
So, what might you want to learn from James Bond, could it be the ability to dress impeccably for the occasion, his levels of confidence, the way that he uses language to command every possible situation, his physical strength, the way he woos and wins in relationships, how he is comfortable in challenging environments, his coolness at the Roulette wheel, his command of business transactions when going undercover with an adept knowledge of the role and business he is in?
All of these characteristics, when broken down so that you can understand the beliefs and values, physical attributes, tonality, energy and postures can provide you with the ability to instantly transform any aspect of you personal and business success.
