So you have scored the date, she has agreed to go out with you. Now the preparation begins. If you think that you can just show up for the all-important first date without any preparation or planning, think again. The first date is the only chance that you will get to make a first impression on her so you want to do it right. The most important aspect in planning for your first date is your appearance. After all, you are trying to sell yourself to her, so make the product look good! It is so important to look your best on any date, but it is imperative on the first date. When you take the time to groom yourself and make yourself look good, you are sending the message to her that she is worth all of the extra time and energy that you put into yourself. Every girl likes to feel special, and if you take extra time to make yourself look good for her, she is going to appreciate it. If it has been awhile since your last hair cut, make a visit to the barbershop or hair salon. Getting a freshly clipped head of hair will go a long way in looking good and feeling good about you. Do not forget to give yourself a fresh shave, that five oclock shadow is probably not the best choice for a first date. Do not neglect your clothing choices! It is important to choose your clothing carefully for the event that you will be attending. However, remember that even if you are going for a picnic in the park that is not an excuse to wear ripped jeans and a ratty t-shirt. Choose some nice clothes, without holes or stains that reflect the activity that you will be doing. However, whatever you wear, be sure that it is something that you are comfortable in, because if you feel comfortable, you are more likely to be relaxed. Do not neglect your teeth or your breath. There is nothing worse than going home at the end of the date to find that you have had a big piece of spinach stuck in your teeth the entire evening. And do not even think about leaning in for a first kiss if you dont have the freshest breath possible! The important thing to remember when you are getting ready for a first date is to be yourself.
