It wasn't the Father's plan that we spend our life alone. It's our choice however to do that once we have lost a partner or spent numerous years working in an area, with a collection of communicative, interesting people, that no longer operates. Either of the previous experiences could have been enormously happy but this doesn't mean that the second half must be endured through lonliness and confusion because of elimination of a commitment or contract. There is certainly no lack of respect shown to the previous situations if certain decisions are made. Life moves on, this is a Biblical principle and we are given as much help, strength and blessing providing we call on the right wisdom and respond accordingly. This will even come with online dating decisions that will contribute to a better life. If we choose to move into this area of meeting new people, even to the extent of sharing a life He will move in a very special way to help. The only requirement from us is to ask and allow Him to maintain a level of involvement. Sharing time with a new partner of similar spiritual interests can add a new power to the relationship and also provide the agreeing partner necessary for answered prayer.
